The PROFEMUR mutual health Wer Werlé offer benefit to its 4756 members for make easier their access to the care and then assure them cover and health protection. Its members gave access to the services offer by the association mutual of saving and credit. Many of them have characterised by their no information in health in general, parents and particularly their emigrate husbands are from to the north areas where the AIDS prevalence rate is higher.
The proximity of its members with more vulnerable than them (prostitutes), the lack of prevention strategy directly in the areas and the insufficiency actors in the field have convinced the mutual board of directors to propose to add the direct prevention against STI AIDS so them this local contribution is a reply to the necessary community mobilization against the AIDS scourge and the context whichane the health mutual offer their services to its members is favourable to the strategy integration holded by the project as the community mobilization and the research of right guide, to develop the proportion in the whole population but particularly young’s and prostitutes, to protect sexual rapports and a knowledge to the risk caused by a lack of prevention. PROFEMUR is contacted to bring his help to organize women and parents in general by community activities of development and access to the quality and lasting health care. So them that’s an opportunity to create synergism around the intervention for a change of societal perfect.
Our sociology tried more experiences from prostitutes who turned around this practice evaluation. The facts collected permit to think that this ambition can be success if we respect the temporal target, the contribution to satisfy the primary needs of the prostitutes who turn around the strategy of follow-up.
To participate by a mean direct and effective to the prevention of risk bound of health reproduction and STI/AIDS by recess of capacity as to develop and capitalize actions of efficacy promotion of the low risk of sexual attitudes, to maintain the AIDS rate prevalence low of 3 % in 2006, in the areas polarized by the PROFEMUR mutual.
To promote the services offer by PROFEMUR to boost the economic activities for the more exposed class. At the end the project aims to integrate the prostitutes in the solidarity services by the traditional jobs of the program the contractorship.
To realize semi directive poll and observations of research kind in social sciences for the documentations and evaluation of our intervention for the program toward the designed target
To find synergy with the others actors of the areas, the health structures and the polices offices for a more high visibility to work with the local medias for the project communication and marketing.
To implicate authorities and actives associations to follow and evaluate the actions and their impact for the final evaluation of the struggle strategy against AIDS in 2006 documentation.
To organize sensibilisation meetings in the nine mutual local for the women and the health and credit mutual members and the populations of the locality implantation too.
These activities must be oxed on the prevention of IST/AIDS risk which permit to change the attitudes.
To organize talk show in the residential strict of the PROFEMUR members destined to their strict occupants. Band of sensibilisation projection on the IST/AIDS during the crowd periods in the waiting room of the PROFEMUR mutual.
To accompany socialite the prostitutes who frequent the named bars for mobilizing them in a changement program of attitudes and responsibility share by their partners, to bring them nearer of the PROFEMUR antenna for an economic alternative of the prostitution.
